VIDEO:KIDstruction Children’s Hospital Campaign Rings the Bell at $425,000

St. Louis Children’s Hospital announced today (Sept. 28) that the construction industry’s KIDstruction Week 2018  campaign raised $425,000.

This year, 146 companies participated with more than 2,750 trades workers and employees donating $1 an hour worked during KIDstruction Week.The 2018 thank you video concludes with 2018 KIDstruction Patient Ambassador Sawyer ringing the bell to celebrate the completion of his cancer treatments.

“Again, I am amazed by the St. Louis construction, engineering and architecture industry’s tenacity, persistence and vision for the future of St. Louis Children’s Hospital. We had a record number of participants and our best campaign yet in 2018,”Malcolm Berry, chief development officer at St. Louis Children’s Hospital said.

“You demonstrate what can happen when forward-looking leaders and individuals like you can accomplish to help make the future brighter for children and families.”

The 2018 KIDstruction Week Committee was chaired by  Brad Gross, Gross Mechanical Contractors.
