From St. Louis Business Journal:  The sun hung high, and at 10 a.m. the air already felt thick.

So in other words, a typical summer day in St. Louis.

“Now imagine there’s a 3,000-degree furnace going and no A/C,” Todd Rogan said, while standing in the original building of the former Century Electric Co. foundry complex in Midtown.

“That was a tough job.”

Rogan, director of development services for Lawrence Group, led the Business Journal on a recent tour of the 15-acre site on Forest Park Avenue that his firm is redeveloping into an entertainment destination called City Foundry.

“I think the project is going to be really great for the whole Midtown area,” said Rick Spector, senior vice president of retail brokerage for JLL. “This is going to take it another level.”
