From St. Louis Business Journal:  New details, including a name, cost and construction timeline, have emerged on a $15 million condominium development in Clayton.

The project, located at 43-55 Topton Way and spearheaded by the Mehlman family, received approval Monday from the Clayton Plan Commission and Architectural Review Board.

Topton Way Condominiums LLC is developer on the project, which will be called The Pearl Condominiums in Clayton. The development is a joint venture between Mark S. Mehlman Homes LLC, which is owned by Mark Mehlman and his wife Debi, and Mehlman Brothers Development LLC. Scott and Blair Mehlman, the children of Mark and Debi Mehlman, own Mehlman Brothers Development.

The Pearl development includes plans for two nine-unit, 3.5-story condo buildings located south of Maryland Avenue near Clayton High School. Construction on the project is expected to start this spring and take 18 to 24 months to complete. Four two-story, four-family apartment buildings will be demolished as part of construction.
