By on September 15, 2017

Don Willey, business manager for Laborers Local 110 has become an eloquent and vocal spokesman and advocate for opioid addiction prevention and reform. Willey has told the story often of how he lost a son and a nephew to heroin within a day of one another.

He was part of the panel “Opioids: A Building Epidemic”  that Construction Forum STL hosted last December.

Willey, who is on the board of directors of United Way of Greater St. Louis, serves on that organization’s opioid prevention and treatment task force.

In this video, Willey makes a parent’s plea in compelling fashion.
